Economy Checking
For folks on a budget or who don't write a lot of checks, Economy Checking is a sound choice to help keep your monthly costs under control. At Peoples State Bank, Economy doesn't mean you have to do without services that are important to you. We'll mail you a statement each month with images of your checks and deposits. Like with regular checking, you can gain access to Internet banking and bill payment+, ATMs, and use of a MasterMoney Card*. You're welcome to use either the lobby or drive-thru for your banking as well as bank-by-mail. As always, you'll receive same-day credit for deposits made to tellers throughout the day until the bank closes.
You can establish your Economy Checking account with an opening deposit of $200.00 or more and write up to 10 checks each month. There is a charge of $.50 for each check or draft over 10 per statement cycle. The monthly maintenance fee is a low $5.00 each cycle.
# Interest is paid on collected balances only. Accounts closed prior to the end of the statement period forfeit all interest earned during the period. Other Fees may also apply.
